Zack & Amber

Today was the first wedding we have attended as a family of six.  Although, Sean's cousin Zack got married,  Amber works in our OB's office and we have seen much more of her over the last year.  It became pretty evident that our kids have the luxury of Sunday School and don't have to sit in church very often.  Tristan actually sat and read the Bible and claims to have dozed off.  Keira came with a book and sat with another cousin - Roni - during the service.  Lexi was the biggest challenge, but we were prepared with drinks, snacks and books to keep her quiet and entertained.  It was pretty funny, after the flower girl passed by us, Lexi exclaimed what a mess that was.  When I just shushed her, she replied, "but Mom, that girl just made a BIG mess!  She better clean it up!"  Eisley was her usual wiggly self, but fared well over all.
Yes, that hand is in motion, trying to grab Jill's hair!  She sat looking at it very longingly before taking a swipe at it.
The happy couple
Lexi was fascinated with the eagle outside of the UMBA Hall.
Fun with balloons
Even E liked the balloons - Daddy wouldn't let her get down and chase them though.
What a boy's gotta do - waiting for Anthony to show up.
They had a photo booth and hats, glasses and boas to dress up with.  We had fun trying out new looks and making silly faces.  Sean and I went through with Eisley and then we squeezed into a girls only shot.  Bonus - pictures to take home!

Our new friend, Amy Jo
Eisley and Amy Jo spotted each other at the church and got to know one another a little more at the reception.  They're both part of this elite club, you need an extra chromosome to be a member of.  Amy Jo is 14 and a freshman in high school - she goes to the same school Sean and I went to.
Amy Jo and her family had a great time playing with Eisley and even took her in the photo booth for some DS diva pictures.

Eisley is an amazing little girl that has changed me in countless ways, she has taught me so many things.  Tonight Little E made me break out of my shell - just a bit.  I'm not real comfortable chatting with folks I don't know and certainly don't open up to them, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to a mom who has walked the Down syndrome path.  So, thanks E for encouraging me - we had a great night!

Great pictures! Looks like you had a fun time out. Glad Little E got to bond with someone else in her club, and that you were able to share experiences with them as well. I'm sure that is very helpful in your journey.
