Resolution

Eisley forgot to mention to us, but apparently decided that one of her resolutions this year was to eat better.  She started off at Christmastime - she's a go getter and wanted to get a jump start on it!  Little E is very interested in what you are eating and has to have some of her own food when it's dinner time.  All of the sudden, over the last few weeks, the amount of food we were giving her wasn't enough.  The girl has been eating better and better each day.

Since she was just eating 1/2 a teaspoon at the most, I have been freezing the baby food in ice cube trays so it is not wasted.  We've had to upgrade to the bigger trays and now Miss Eisley is eating about 2oz of baby food and cereal twice a day along with feeding herself biscuits, rice rusks and other toddler goodies.  I am so thankful for Grandma's persistence even when I had nearly given up!

Liquids seem to be of interest, but getting them is another thing.  Eisley has forgotten how to suck and just lets the milk dribble into her mouth.  But the bonus is she doesn't spit it out, she drinks it!  Since we are STILL waiting on approval for the intensive feeding program at Munroe Meyer, Eisley is going to revisit Children's and see what else they may have to offer for now.  If she can keep up this momentum, maybe the intense "feeding boot camp" won't be needed!

Tristan was impressed with his "action" shot!
Along with eating better has come two VERY sharp teeth on the bottom.  So pointed that I am going to inquire at the next dental visit the big kids have.
And when we're not busy cooking and feeding, Keira is working on her arts and crafts.  Today she created her own flavors of lipgloss.
