Lunch Dates

Yesterday we met GG, Grandma & Grandpa Moser and Aunt Sue for lunch.  Sizzler.  Hadn't been there but once and was reminded why.  Oh well, it was still good to spend some time with family.  It is such a joy to watch GG with the kids.  I remember her being so strict when I was a kid and now all she does is love on them.

Aunt Sue joined us at home for a few hours.  She snuggled babes - Eisley LOVED getting her hands and feet rubbed.  It was funny to watch, as soon as Aunt Sue started rubbing she would either suck her tongue or go to sleep.  We've got to learn her technique!  Keira and Sue drew and cut out stars and glued them on the box of markers - weird yet wonderful - that's Aunt Sue!

Tristan had a field trip to Old Chicago, right next door to where we were for lunch.  They walked from school and managed to make it between the rain showers.  He's never been a huge fan of their pizza, but apparently when you get to make your own it's not too bad.

Last night Eisley surprised us with her awesome tummy time.  The last few weeks she would only lay with her arms at her side like a beached whale, but had progressed to putting her arms up by her head at least this week.  Last night she actually stayed propped up on her elbows for a few minutes (think army crawl) - now to just get the head pulled up as well.

Today was a hurry up, but get nothing done kind of day.  Eventually we made it out of the house to pick up some final bday items for Lexi and grab some lunch at the elite McDonalds inside of Wal-Mart.  While the younger two girls napped, Keira and I wrapped birthday presents.  I wasn't brave enough to let her cut the paper :)  I also got my much needed and long overdue phone date with Jen =D
