New Year's Eve

The winter holiday has brought some fun to our house.  Keira and Lexi are always working on their tumbling.  Keira has her bridge looking pretty good, but painful for me to watch.
When she's not busy cartwheeling across the room or teaching her sister another move, Keira likes to dress up.   Yesterday Eisley fell victim to her wonderful fashion ensemble.  What can you say to a tutu, tank top, leggings and antenna like pig tails?  Just grin and bare it was E's response.

Eisley got to check out one of her Christmas presents - an aqua doodle.  We've never had one before, so everyone had fun trying it out - eventually E got a turn too:)
She was more interested in getting her hands wet than writing on the pad.
Oops - where did the pen go?
A good hiding spot, away from the action
We invited a few friends and family members over for New Year's Eve.  I never know what to order at a bar without a menu, but I don't care for beer or wine.  So I decided to make a drink list - mostly martinis that we had or got the mixers to make.  Sean was the drinkmaster and whipped up some yummy concoctions.  Some of my favorites were chocolate raspberry cake martini, peppermint patty, dreamsicle and a pineapple upside-down cake martini.
The boys had fun in the basement with nerf gun wars - Adam is ready to get any intruders!
We didn't see much of the older boys, too busy gaming all night
The little ones made new friends and had fun too
The big girls were dressed up as nerds - or so they claimed:)

We got in a round of Cranium and before the game got going to far Eisley took 10 - yes T E N - steps from the living room to the table.  It was so awesome to have everyone there to share it.
I'm sure you can guess right away what John is acting out...
...no?  Xena Warrior Princess!

We had a great time and many, many laughs with some amazing friends!  I'm already looking forward to another gathering!
