The Zoo

For the first time in a long time, the kids and I had a day without any obligations or appointments, so we packed up and headed out to the zoo.

Membership this year includes not only admission, but Imax tickets as well.  We chose a 3D film about orangutans and elephants.  Eisley wouldn't let me wear my glasses, so I was a tad nauseated before the end, but Keira and T enjoyed the film.  I'm glad it wasn't a full length feature!

We packed a picnic lunch and stayed several hours later than our usual trips.  Our final trek was through the desert with two sleeping beauties.
