Blistering HOT & Block Party

So, it's still hot and no one has mumbled a word about missing the pool.  (woo hoo!)  Dad took pity on the kids and brought home a sprinkler for the kids to run in.  Lexi was a bit scared of the streams, but they had fun.

This weekend we were invited to a block party and went to meet some more of our new neighbors.  Probably the biggest discovery of all was a new friend for T.  Although we practically had to drag them together ("and now say, Hi my name is Tristan"), after that we couldn't get the apart.  Raef and T hit it off.

The girls had a good time splashing in a wading pool, running up and down the block and went on a scavenger hunt amongst the houses.  The final prize?

Licorice!  Even Eisley got a piece and she loved it!  We had a good time, met some new friends and ate plenty of yummy food!
