Our awesome neighbor stopped by and invited us to the neighborhood party. We missed the formal invite since we just arrived, but no one minded us crashing the party. It was a hot one and has been all week. The kids had fun bouncing away in the sweltering bounce houses and chowing on chicken and other goodies. We met lots of new neighbors too. And went on a tour of the local firestation - hopefully this will be the only time we talk with the emergency responders!
After we got home we decided to chill with some snowcones - a good investment we made in that machine last year!
