We were invited to a 4th of July celebration on Sunday out at Uncle Doug and Aunt Jenny's. For years they have been talking about buying some land and building a house, but they bought a fixer upper with plenty of land around it. So after our trek from the western side of the metro to the eastern side of CB we arrived.
The kids had a great time with water balloons, wagon rides, playing catch, horseshoes and badmitton, and best of all riding with Uncle Doug on the 4 wheeler.

I forgot to mention - of course there was food - typical summer cookout fare with lots of goodies.

| Of course the evening wouldn't be complete without some fireworks too - the little ones had fun with the sparklers while the big kids had a show to put on too. |
