Super Therapy Day

Eisley has been under the weather a bit so I wondered how productive our day would be, but she had a super star session at physical therapy.  Here's what she got done that I can recall:
  • Crawled the length of the room 3 times
  • Went from sitting to kneeling to standing 5 times on both the right and left sides as starter
  • Sitting on bolster to standing 5 times
  • Crawling over her therapists legs 6 times
  • And the insurance company had the audacity to say she's reached her maximum potential!
Miss Eisley is continues to get better and better at crawling - speed, endurance, correct motion - it's all coming along.  She's working on crawling on uneven surfaces to build her shoulders and arms some more.  We're going to look for some "real" tennis shoes with some arch support and see if that helps her ankles out.  Eisley will stand for 10-15 seconds and then her legs get pretty tired and wobbly.

Eisley really likes playing with this piggy bank right now.  Enough that she signed more and kept crawling over Lani's (our awesome PT) legs to get it again and again.

Her other favorite toy right now is a busy box like this one.  She loves when you say "bye-bye" to the characters and let her push them back down.

It is so inspiring to watch Eisley at work, especially on days like this when you know she doesn't feel good.  I would have just cancelled and laid on the couch today if it were me, but that little girl just keeps on trying and trying.  Next week we're starting stair climbing - it ought to be interesting!
