Dentist & Doctors

This week has been an adventure of appointments for the kids.  Starting with a dental check-up for everyone but E.  This was Lexi's first time going back with the big kids and she weathered it pretty well.  Sadly, Dr Tom moved to Lincoln, but in his absence came Dr Amy.  No one seemed to mind the change, just getting used to new faces.  Of course it's not a trip to the dentist without new toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, a toy and a balloon!

Eisley liked playing with the balloons too - she even cried when big sister tried to get it back from her!  After the dentist was a picnic for the kindergarteners.  Nothing formal, just bring your lunch, meet some classmates, your teacher and the principal.  Keira was a bit shy introducing herself to the other kids.  That is until she spotted Logan, from her baseball team and saw he was in her class as well.  "I already know him, Mom, I can talk to him without you."  The other Keira that we met at kindergarten round up will be in another class, guess they figured one was all a teacher could handle!

The rest of our mornings were appointments for Eisley.  A quick check-up at the opthalmologist since DS kids are more prone to eye issues.  He noted that she is far-sighted, but this is common for her age and did not merit glasses.  Hurrah!  I can't imagine trying to keep those on her!  Also a check with the pediatrician, she has gained weight since being ill and back on target.  So our diluted feedings seem to be working well.  Now we're off to find a place for physical therapy - that little girl is going to learn how to sit and crawl!
