Yes, we have the luxury of a pool in our backyard. It's a lot of work for a mere 3 months of fun. But days like this make it worth it. I would not tackle taking all 4 kids out to the pool somewhere by myself, but this I can handle. Today's heat index was well over 100, so we were jumping in by 11am - a little chilly, but everyone warmed up quickly.
The infamous shark, Tristan has mastered how to sit on him and not get thrown. Mr Shark has been with us for many years, but sadly I don't think he'll be around much longer.
Lexi liked having Tristan carry her around. She's in the phase of sucking the water out of the splash balls and thought T needed a drink too. Yuck!
Other fish to feed!
Even Little E got in the water. She wasn't sure what to think at first, but big brother wasn't sure how to hold her either. She took over Lexi's float and settled in.
Ahhh, this is the life - soaking up the rays and water to keep you cooled.
We even made a shady spot for break time.
