Check-up

Eisley had her 6 month check up and tipped the scales at 16 lbs, 5 oz and a whopping 25 inches tall.  She seems to be developing pretty well and just a tad behind in a few things, like rolling from her belly to her back and sitting.  Eating is of course another issue that we'll be working on for a while.  She also had to have some blood drawn to check her thyroid - a standard DS screen.  She was not a happy camper to have that done, poor thing seems to have gotten Aunt Jen's veins and had to be poked twice.  After helping hold her, the sweetest part was to look up and see Tristan's face red and splotchy with his eyes full of tears.  He just couldn't stand seeing his little sister being hurt.
I don't know why this turned - oh well.
Big sis playing check up later.  I snagged a few masks from Childrens when we went in for Eisley's blood draw.  Gee, we get lots of great stuff thanks to her!
Carefully listening to her heart, lungs and even the back side of her lungs.  Keira definitely learns well by observation!
Lexi had to have a turn too.

Tristan had his 10 yr check up.  All is well on the boy front.  He got the "take a shower at least every other day...with soap...rubbed in...and shampoo" lecture.  And to think about deodorant too.  We're starting to cross into unfamiliar territory here.  He weighed a whopping 70 pounds - only 10 more and he can officially get out of a car seat - ha!  He's right at 4'8" - Grandma watch out, he'll be towering over you soon!

Great updates! I hope Eisley doesn't mind being poked by her Big Sister Doctors too much! She looks like she did OK even with a blood draw (yuk).
