The Grand Finale

Since the zoo trip earlier in the week didn't really allow for seeing many animals, the gang headed back today. Taking in the new butterfly house, monkeys/apes, bears, jungle & aquarium still didn't cover all of the zoo. Tristan and Keira also were hands on with a corn snake and Grady the penguin. Finally stopping for a late lunch at Zesto's was a good treat to a busy day. Tristan had to save 1/2 of his burger so he had room for the giant ice cream cone.

Of course it's hard to top a refreshing swim out back after a whole day out in the sun! It was a great day overall and a good way to spend Mom's last day home before returning to work on Monday.
