Children's Museum & Baseball

Today was another day with just the girls - a nice break after Mom working 4 days this week.
We decided to head back to the Children's Museum - a favorite of Keira's this summer. Toured through the special dinosaur exhibit, this time learing a little bit about the different ones they have on display. Keira decided her favorite was the Mosasaurus, they swim in the water and the name kind of sounds just like Moses, Papa's dog. Keira also really likes to play in the grocery store - where she can shop with her grocery cart for food and then switch roles between the customer and the cashier when it comes to checking out. They put on a science show about pressure, a bit beyond her understanding, but everyone squealed when it came to getting sprayed with water.
The best part of the Children's Museum that day was getting to play in the outdoor sprinkler garden. Mom planned ahead and brought a towel to dry off and protect the car seat - good thing because Keira was soaking wet! Next time we'll bring flip flops too!
Tristan started the fall baseball season - this year he's in an instructional league with some former Husker and HS coaches/players. Tonight was a clinic covering some basics in fielding, throwing and batting. It will be interesting to see how the boys react with more aggresive coaches chasing after them about paying attention and hustling etc. Dad is of course very excited for Tristan to be involved with this.
