Lexi's 4th Birthday

Four years ago we welcomed Miss Alexis Rose into the world.  She is a crazy, silly, outgoing little girl who keeps us on our toes.  We surprised her with a new Minnie Mouse dress - one that is "great for twirling".
Since I had to work, we stopped by HyVee for birthday snacks to take to daycare.  As an added bonus a pink race car shopping cart awaited our arrival.  Lexi carefully picked out some mini muffins for her friends and some doughnut holes to share with mom in the car.  (Her friends might not like doughnut holes, but she knew Mommy does!)
Lexi chose Sonic for dinner - obviously not my first choice, but it's her day.  After dinner she opened her presents - a Lalaloopsey Mermaid, Dora Mermaid bath toy, swim cover up, Minnie dress up and headphones (for all the Dr visits she gets to attend).
Eisley got mad that she couldn't have any of the new toys so she took off upstairs to get a toy for herself.  A noisy push button radio that she had to open a drawer to get to.  She brought it all the way back down stairs to play with everyone else.

Playing with Minnie and dressing her up, she informed me that Minnie was getting ready for a date.  With who?  The fish that came with La La Loopsey!
Not only did we get to celebrate Lexi's birthday, we had a good time with Trent yesterday too.  I tricked him with his present.  An empty tissue box (I took them out of the bottom so he wouldn't notice) and filled with dollar bills taped together.  Trent was polite and said thanks for the tissue, but you could tell he wasn't impressed.  I faked a sneeze and asked to use one of his tissues - when he figured out there was money inside his beautiful smile came out!
