My baby boy celebrated his 11th birthday today. He is an amazing kid that I am very thankful for. We started the morning off with doughnuts and some gifts. T is getting harder to buy for, but yet he is grateful for anything, so that helps. Legos and videogames are still the old standby. Dad took it a step further this year. Since T basically won't learn how to ride a bike, he ventured the route of a skate board. I have no knowledge of anything skate related, but Sean was a skater and took care of it all.

Then we headed off to CocoKeys with our free passes - from, you guessed it, the library reading club! We found a couple families from our small group were there too. This gave the girls some friends to play with while T and Dad went off to tackle the big water slides. The little camera must have a faulty battery - it died shortly after we arrived:( After lots of swimming, lazy river trips and turns down the slide it was time to head home for naps.
My workplace sponsored an event at The Durham Western Heritage Museum, so after a quick bite to eat, we headed downtown. A chemistry professor led a demonstration with many interesting activities. Then we explored the trains and the display of George Washington Carver.
