Weekend Fun

Last weekend we jetted over to Urgent Care on Sunday - it appeared Eisley had another eye infection and her eye was swelling too.  I normally would have just waited to call on Monday morning, but I really didn't want her to miss out on feeding therapy.  More drops, which she just loves, and we were on our way.  Her delicate little skin under her eye gave way to so much washing and started bleeding - it looked much worse than it really was.

Eisley has also started tugging on her button lately.  It was just spinning it around and noting that something was there, but now it's a tug.  I sure hope she doesn't decide to pull it out, but we'll be carrying supplies with us just in case.  The dressing seems to be another issue - you can see here she's managed to take it off.  What an ornery girl!
There really aren't words to describe a 10 yr old squeezed into a baby's car - the getup with a cape and mask just tops it off!
Keira carried Eisley down the hall to the toy room (or what's left of it).  She's not been in there to play before because often there are little pieces out, but she had a blast playing with the dishes and food.
Finally caught an image of Eisley's new trick!  She will get up on her hands and feet for just a second or two, sometimes with her head down and looking upside down at you!  Yesterday she managed to pull herself up to standing a couple times too - once on Daddy and the other time on the couch.  It didn't last too long, but it's a start.
Uh oh!  Toys abandoned, Eisley made her way up two stairs before being caught.  Of course Dad just scooped her right up, so we had to recreate the scene for pictures!
For Mother's Day my kids have spoiled me with showers of cards (even airplane style), painted figures, flowers with coupons for chores, candies (purchased with their own reward money at school) and breakfast in bed (Starbucks and Krispy Kreme).  Hope everyone has just a wonderful day as I am!
